The Client & Context
A global financial analytics company serving institutional clients across North America, Europe, and Asia needed to train its professionals consistently — across corporate finance, banking operations, and credit & securities functions — without the quality dropping across regions or time zones. Legacy training had been instructor-led, heavily regional, and dependent on a small team of senior trainers who couldn't scale.
What Problem Were We Solving?
Deliver consistent, technically rigorous training to professionals across three major financial functions — corporate finance, banking operations, and credit & securities — spanning multiple regions simultaneously, on demand, without losing instructional quality or domain depth. Regional silos meant that teams in London were receiving different content from peers in Singapore and New York. And as the product suite expanded, keeping training current was a persistent bottleneck.
The Strategy Behind the Solution
Creativ Technologies partnered with the client's internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) — senior practitioners across each domain — to extract tacit knowledge and translate it into structured digital learning. Three distinct curriculum tracks were developed, each built around real-world financial case studies drawn from actual deal flows, market events, and operational scenarios.
Progressive complexity was embedded into every module: learners move from foundational concepts to applied decision-making within each unit, with adaptive branching scenarios that surface contextually appropriate content based on learner role. Broadcast-quality expert video segments were integrated throughout — featuring senior practitioners presenting analysis walkthroughs and technical commentary — giving learners access to expertise that previously existed only in live workshops.
The Solution & Deliverables
A modular, multi-domain curriculum of 18 eLearning modules across 3 tracks was delivered in SCORM 2004 format, integrated directly into the client's existing Professional Development (PD) platform. Each module features expert video, scenario-based assessments, downloadable reference materials, and xAPI-tracked completion metrics.
A phased delivery model was used: Track 1 (Corporate Finance) launched first as a pilot with 200 professionals, allowing feedback to be integrated before Tracks 2 and 3 (Banking Operations; Credit & Securities) were finalised. The client moved from a training model that reached approximately 400 professionals per year to one that could serve thousands — on demand, across any time zone.
